Why do you think your brakes need "Upgrading"? Are they fading after repeated hard stops?

Drilled rotors are not a good idea and offer no real benefit other than appearance and if used hard will crack.

Upgrading the pads only is the best single way to improve braking and then the next best way is to improve your tires.
