Alright, well I`ll keep looking.. I re-read my post about spring rates, and decided against. Wow this is difficult.

Do you know how much the Tein S-techs will lower your GT?

Around the same as the the Sportlines, 2" in the back and like 1.6 in the back. It's aggressive as all hell..

I'm still leaning for the H&R's though.. not sure on struts tho.. might have to go D-Specs, but it's real expensive (but you gotta pay to play). I'm hoping to get away with the STRs.. with GT500 strut mounts if that helps.

If I were super smart, I'd do what I did for f-bodies and just take what I know and make my own springs... More correctly have springs made for me (by a reputable company) to my specification.

With that said, the reality is I don't like to do things where I can't tangibly improve things over what's around. I dislike a lot of springs for this car, but there are also some decent options, and again my preferred spring is the one particular Steeda Sport (remember there are two different ones) and that's why I stock them. They are about 1"-1.2" lower than stock which is just about right to me.

Some pics of customer's cars (2 '08's or so, two '11's):

Sam - last question/clairification.

The H&Rs with the str.t's will work right? I will also be getting an adj. panhard bar and gt500 upper strut mounts.

The reason I've asked, is because I haven't gotten a pretty direct answer. I know it's going to be a stiff ride, but probably not going to be a harsh ride.

Thanks.

Yes, the H&R's will work with the STR.T's, but those springs will ride harder than something less low, less stiff. Firm is different from harsh... those will be quite firm, and are the stiffest/lowest spring I'd try with STR.T's, but also think that given the rate and height Koni Sports would be more suitable.

This is a very tough position for me to be in. As one who sells parts I certainly don't want to say "don't buy that". However you are looking to put two things together one is less than ideal (the springs) because the rate and height isn't what I think it what you'd really like to drive on--but they do look good. And those springs are beyond what the STR.T's are best at dealing with, and because you want to run more rate and do it in less travel you should have more rebound damping available to cover those things--which means Koni Sports instead.

And finally.... GT500 mounts. Nope. You want Steeda HD mounts (camber plates). You lower the car that far and you camber will be all jacked up and there is no way to adjust it stock, or with GT500 mounts. The HD Mounts/plates not only give you the camber adjustment you will need at that height to re-align the car, but also fix the weak upper mount issue as well.

Steeda Sport Springs, Koni STR.T, Steeda HD Mounts all bought from Sam Strano. On 19" SVT Wheels. Low enough that I had to buy a low profile jack to jackup the car, and even then I still need to ride up on 2x4's in the front.
