Lowering springs and stock shocks
#2
Trick question.... How long? Technically you could run on them forever, but I'm thinking you want to know how long will they work well, right? Well the answer there is between never and a little while depends on just how well you want things to work....
Stock dampers aren't so hot, anyone who has changed them out finds the car to have better control and ride even on stock springs. Lowering springs only make matters worse because now you are asking the sub-par stock damper, meant to work/deal with stock springs (taller and softer) to now control much higher spring rates *AND* do it in a lesser amount of working travel. To really be able to handle higher spring rates, you want higher damping rates so the shock can deal with the extra stored energy and do it in the shorter travel.

you can run them as long as you don't mind your ($15-$40,000) car feeling and driving like crap....
(save up, change them both at once, and save your time/money doing so)
give Sam a call and he'll point you in the right direction

did you make the mistake of not installing upgraded dampers with the Eibachs?
The only springs I would recommend are the ones in the FRPP package that Shelby put on my SGT. In the verts they did NOT replace the stock, factory shocks and struts, but there is none of the bouncing that I had in my old GT when I only upgraded to the Pro Kit.
Learn from my mistake and wait until you can afford the best shocks and struts. I would go with the adjustable ones from Tokico.

Um.... those springs are pro-kits. You don't have "bouncing" because the FRPP dampers have a lot more rebound than stock dampers. But I still don't recommend those simply because you can get as good and better control with a much better ride from other dampers. We swapped the FRPP shocks off the Shelby early on and there was a huge difference how the car rode and felt over road imperfections, HUGE.
