Question Steeda Sport Front Springs NOT Lowering??

NEVERMIND. hadnt been looking at it on level ground... thread can be deleted.

I installed steeda sport rear springs a while back, then recently got the fronts to match. They've been installed over a month and handle great, but didn't lower the front of the car at all vs the stock springs.

Anyone else experience this? When I installed, could something have been hooked up wrong or something to cause this? There's no popping or any sounds coming from the suspension, it's just not lower.

Are the ends of the springs indexed correctly in the lower seats?

I experienced the same thing with my Steeda comp springs. There was actually more fender gap in the front than the rear, and that was with the trunk and car completely unloaded. I cut a coil off the front springs and now it looks about even. I can only assume that this will stiffen up the front and lead to understeer, but hopefully that can be dialed out with adjustable sway bars.

Did you take before and after measurements? I recently installed Steeda Sports on my 08 Bullitt and the front only dropped 1/4"(1" drop lowering spring). Contacted Steeda and they are sending another set of front springs to try. Hoping that the set in the car now might be the GT500 version, won't know until I install the new ones and see where I end up.

See this is the info I need.. I want a legitimate drop on my car. Manufacturers call it a 1" drop and 90% of the time its never as much or in the case of some like Tein it is usually more. I need to find the guy who is tucked on his tires.... *in search of the silver stang in his sig*

Steeda Sport Springs installed front and back lowered my car as per the manufactures specification “approximately one full inch” on the front and a "little" more on the back.

After:

I installed my steeda sports and it looked funny at first.....front was still at stock height but now 2 weeks later she sits like she should.....springs must have settled. Love the stance now. This is on my 2011 car.

yeah the front looks like it has settled. at first it was basically like before, and for a week or two after, but here recently comparing it to the rear, its basically the exact same gap now. looks good
