Default Advice for new handling upgrade on my v6

So, lately while cornering I realize that my suspension isn't as rigid as my dads gt. They're both s197, and I've been reading that there is no suspension difference(unless if this isn't true). I have heard that the gt front coils are different to the v6's front coils. If this is true, I could upgrade my suspension in a cheap but efficient way.

In other words, what would be the best, cheapest way to step my suspension up?

I think the front sway bars on the GT are a lot bigger than our PP ones. Also struts/tower brace are a good upgrade ive heard.

Alright, thanks. Do you have any handling upgrades?

Just got some new springs, and the ride is a bit firmer and less body roll. But its not really that noticeable unless you get coil overs I guess. I just don't have the cash or know-how for those right now haha. Ride drop is also associated with new springs so I guess you can go with up to 2" drop on some springs, but I wouldn't advise any more IMO.

I might be getting a new thicker sway bar for the front but other than that, I don't think Im gonna change anything else.

EDIT: Forgot to add, springs are usually the first thing recommended to do, but I have noticed sway bars do waay more for the "feel" or body roll than springs.

The pony package has a GT rear swaybar, and I'm almost positive its a GT front sway bar. Also there isn't THAT much size difference between the V6 and the GT front sway bar.

Default Pony Package Info

I have a 2007 Pony Pkg and have been autocrossing it since new.

Mine had the GT front sway bar (34mm) and a rear sway bar that was 2mm smaller than the GT rear bar (18 vs 20).

I went a got a set of GT springs and when I measured them side by side I found little to nil difference with a micrometer....... they do have different tags however. GT springs if stiffer/better, any actual difference would be negligible IMO.

Be sure to do shocks. Might not need the adjustable Koni yellows, but the other Koni non-adjustables are far better than stock shocks.
