Unless your car is a convertible or you are tracking your car hard with wide sticky tires the general consensus is that a STB is for bling only and just adds weight in the wrong place. 
PS - I have one but I fall into the second group.

Sooo . . . you're apparently being crowded from above as it is by a non-stock hood that may be lower than OE in places - and now you're looking at being crowded from underneath by a taller manifold?
It's possible that if anything will fit at all, it'll have to be custom-fabricated.
If I had to choose between the manifold and the STB and couldn't have both, I'd take the manifold. And I'm more of a chassis guy than an engine guy.
