FAYS2 watts link with Roush Stage 3 rear sway bar ?
Has anyone fitted a FAYS2 watts link with a Roush stage 3 rear sway bar ?
I understand that there can be space / clearance issues with some sway bars. I have had a lot of helpful information from Sam Strano, but unfortunately he has not come across this specific combination. I am awaiting a response from Jim Fays. I would be grateful if anyone else could help. |
Driving the Mustang in the UK must be "interesting" especially when you stop at a petrol station.
My suggestion about the bar is buy the FAYS2 Watt's link and if it doesn't fit then get a bar that does. If you drive the car hard then the benefits from the Watt's are so significant that you will not regret it. |
Anybody know of a rear bar that is straight between the hangers? The curve forward section runs too close to the pivot on my differential on my home made watts link.

I just installed a Fays2 Watt Link on a Stage 3 ROUSH... You will need to order the short frame version of the watts link. The full version will impact the sway bar.
Shelby exclusively uses the short frame for that same exact reason. |

Has anyone installed one of these lately? I am having issues adjusting my rods and setting it up. My first question is: Are your rods parallel to the ground and axle when the vehicle is on the ground or are they inverted “V” shaped?
The only way my rods are parallel to the ground and axle is if the rear end is lifted about 1” before hitting the bump stops onto the frame. |
Its called Griggs !

Good Lord man you are having issues with that thing. Doesn't someone else make one that fits better?

No it fits fine!!!! It just has critical adjustments and I am paranoid!!! I just want to make sure its right!! I think I got it... I'm getting tired of removing, adjusting, test fitting, removing, more adjustment, etc...you get the picture... I think I am finally done... Its going on the way it is... lol |
