Continental ExtremeContact DW or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Hey guys, I have to make a decision very fast. Witch set of tires would you guys choose?
Continental ExtremeContact DW
Or
Michelin Pilot Sports PS2
Thanks guys, the previous owner must have abused the car, it's a 2010 GT and my tires are practically bald lol. :-/

I have a set of the DWs on one of my cars right now but don't have enough time on them to render an opinion. I know they are quiet, can't say that about all performance tires. I bought them primarily because of their stellar wet weather reviews and reasonalble price. They have a fairly aggressive tread (lots of void area) and I assume this is what leads to their good wet performance but it has to have a cost when it comes to ultimate stick in dry weather....I will see, I'm going to give the a go on the race track next weekend.
I have no personal experience with the PS2 but you could say they are tried and tested. They have been around a long time. Lots of people like them although the common response is they are a bit pricey for what you get.
Sorry, not a whole lot of help. IMO - if you drive in all forms of weather including a decent amount of rain, go with the DWs. If you are more dry with occaisonal rain, go with the PS2.

I have owned both tires so I'll give you my experience.
I currently have the DW's on my 2011 mustang. 275 year, 245 front. They are quiet and grip pretty well, wet traction is great and the sidewalls are reasonably firm. However for dry traction they do not grip as well as some other summer tires. if youer looking for better than allseason performance and a tire thats going to last a while these area good choice. can be driven in temps under 50 unlike most summer tires.
I went through 3 sets of PS2's back when I had my Crossfire. The dry grip is amazing, wet isn't too bad either. however I never got more than 11,000 miles out of a set of rears. they are a very soft compound. and anything under 45 degrees they become hard as a rock

I have had the Continentals for about 2 years and I really like them, they are quiet, and grip well in every weather condition including light snow. They also seem to be wearing very well (They are a 50k mile tire.)
For comparison I had bfg g-force sports before, which were a full inch wider and a full inch taller and these have better traction in every situation. The BFG's also wore out completely in >20k miles
