SCCA Pro Solo Report: Oscoda, Michigan
Back from running the Mustang @ the Oscoda MI SCCA ProSolo presented by GumOut.
I'm happy to say that I won my class, and went onto the win the GumOut Super Challenge for the Overall Event win.
Also.... There were lots of other highlights for Strano Performance Parts.
Heather Everett won the Ladies Challenge and Ladies1 Class in Mike Potocki's 2007 F-Stock class Shelby GT. I also have to mention Holly Schwedler in Lee Piccione's Shelby GT, and Hilary Anderson in her CRX. They both ran some smoking times for L1 but had some issues with doing those runs clean. By the way, I mention Hilary here as you guys will be speaking to her at some point, as she started for here about 2 weeks ago. And yes, she's a gearhead and owns her own car.
Multi-time National Champion and 2 time Mazda Rev-it-up winner Mark Daddio won F-Stock in his Grabber Blue 2012 Mustang GT using a Strano Performance Parts Adjustable Front swaybar, shocks, and suspension setup... even a set of wheels made to my spec!
And finally.... We had 7 S197's there, and I'm proud to say I had some help in each.
There were Shelby GT's there in F-stock. Shawn Alexander's car in ESP. My 2011 in ESP, A 2012 Boss running ESP. A 2012 Mustang GT in F-stock...... hell there was even an '85 Fox body there which the car owner inherited from his late father who bought it brand new!!!!
We made up 10% of that event's entry, and won 3 classes, and 2 of the Challenges. Mustangs can turn, and they are competitive. Maybe someday we can convince you guys to try!

I know of Hilary through local fast guy Tom O'Gorman. She can outrun me any day of the week. I'm sure she'll fit right in, Sam.
