20" wheel fitment question
i am looking at a used set of these:
VOSSEN FORGED VF-061
20x9.5 +38
20x11 +57
they came off a lexus is-f. i was wondering if this will fit my application.
i have a 2011 5.0 with the brembo package.

20x9.5-45mm offset fronts and 20x11-59mm offset rears fit as that is the size of the Spyder wheels from Steeda. Both of the the wheels you're looking at will stick out farther. I wouldn't take the chance myself. What do those weigh and how much are they asking? If they are light enough and cheap enough it might be worth the risk.

it is a forged 3-piece wheel. vossen is based in florida. i tried contacting vossen but they are not open because of the holidays. i was told by someone the 20x11 weighs in the low side of the 20lb range. the set new was north of $6k. the ones i am looking at are about a 1/3 of that $$$.

thanks for your response! i'm very green at this... been driving fwd fuel sippers most of my life. it is now time to make amends lol

Ughhhh... 20's...
I'm not sure what the stock wheel offsets are for the 2011 but they should be close if not the same as the 05-10 which is in the 45-48 range. I'd be surprised if those wheels were in the low 20# range but you never know. Personally, I think:

- give a poor ride due to having to go with a low profile tire
- 20's look wrong on most Mustangs, mainly due to the lack of sidewall from #1 above but also because the eye tends to notice the wheel and not the car
- have much more likelyhood of wheel and suspension damage due to the lack of sidewall
- result in more rotational mass (hence, loss of performance) unless the wheels are an extrememly light (and expensive) material and/or you have the extra power to make it a non-issue
