Default gt sways for $300 worth it

hey just wanted some input. i have the chance to pick up some gt sway bars for $150 each. i already have both sways on account of the pony package, but the gts are bigger if i remember correctly. is it worth the money to get the GT sways? or should i invest towards something else. thanks!

No way.. My bars are $349 for the pair, they are bigger, both are hollow, have much better bushings, and are both 3 position adjustable too!!!!

$139 for the set NEW TAKE OFFS

V6 PP have a 18mm rear sway and a 31.5mm front sway.
GTs have a 20mm rear sway and a 34mm rear sway.
Just enough to compliment your V6 suspension.
Aftermarket sways designed for Gts on V6es just
dont work and cause tire lift during hard cornering.
Bigger is just not always better...
Get the Prothane Poly Bushings to complete the install...

I got my front and rear GT sways off eBay for $20 shipped
years ago when the S197 was young and parts were plentiful.

SamStrango must be riding on Koni Coilovers and some mickey
thompson drag slicks...

This guy has GT500 front and rear sways to get rid of....

I'm sorry to say but what I read two posts ago is a joke. A complete and utter joke.

The chassis are the SAME. And the weights of the cars are barely any different. Yeah a V-6 is smaller, and it's completely cast-iron up until 2011... a 4.6 is all aluminum. Aluminum is lighter than cast-iron, unless things have changed in way that I can't imagine.

My ex-girlfriend had a '07 V-6, we put my GT parts on it, and it drove just like my GT did stock. Go figure.

I'd like to say I've never read such nonsense.... but I can't, because I have. This is just the newest chapter.

So Sam, what's the difference between your bars and the GT bars thickness-wise?

The GT coupe rear bar is 20mm but the convertible version is 18mm. The fronts are the same for both at 34mm.
