Default Installed koni shocks today the driver side shock is loose

Thanks for the replies on installing the GT500 mounts with the Koni shocks. Will I have to uninstall the strut in order to tighten the shock nut or is there a tool that can do the job without taking the stuts out? Thanks Steve

I don't have experience with the Koni's, but every shock/strut I've worked on has a slot for a screwdriver, or flat spots for a wrench so you can tighten the nut. You shouldn't have to remove the damper.

Under the little adjusting tip at the top you'll find a hex (didn't measure it but I think it's about 12mm). Put a box wrench on that and tighten the strut nut.

As I recall, the torque spec on the Koni strut nut is relatively low, lower than the torque spec for the non-adjustable OE struts. You should be able to snug it up without much difficulty. Both of mine loosened after a while, and I've tightened them each only once.
