2011 GT rear brake questions
Buddy of mine and i are having a discrussion at work and i cannot find it on the net. Also dont have my car with me to check, so here i am.
Are the OEM brakes on the rear of GT vented?
What kind of parking brake setup do they use? Drum or do they use the main disc?
Are the rear brakes on a Brembo GT the same as the base GT?
Looking for awnsers asap.
Thanks

I just did the Brembo bbk swap from ford racing. Can't remember if the rears are vented. The emergency brake is the disc caliper (not a drum). I believe the calipers and rotors are the same for the Brembo and non-Brembo cars, but the pads are different. My bbk came with different pads to install with in the rear calipers. I even think the Boss rears are the same!

- the OEM rear disks are vented
- the parking brake engages the caliper on the rotor
- the rear brakes on the V6, the GT, the GT500 and the Boss 302 are all the same
