Angry Rear passenger side wheel gap is higher than drivers side

I'm planning on adding Roush rear springs to my 2007 v6 convertible to level out the car and when I went to measured the wheel gaps I noticed the passenger side rear wheel is .5 inches higher than the drivers side rear wheel.

Has anyone else had this with their car? Any ideas what can cause this? I was guessing it's either a bad spring or shock on the driver side that's causing it to be lower. The car only has 45,500 miles.

Thanks,
Mark

give it a while to settle out if you just swapped it. do you have something heavy in the trunk by chance? speakers or something?

I haven't swapped them yet. The gap is with stock springs and shocks.

I ask this in all sincerity: were u measuring on level ground? Sometimes, even if the ground looks level, it might not be. My car always seems lopsided in my driveway. Used to drive me crazy...until I realized it wasn't level....and no kidding, it looks level.

How full was the gas tank?
Doesnt passenger side empty out before driver in our saddle shaped tanks?

Well at 75% the passenger side would possibly be under half way down.
Since even at 0 the driver side still has a gallon or two in reserve un-measured.
Not entirely sure how much of a weight diference that is but it could be cause of this.
Maybe refuel and measure as soon as possible?

I'm going to say that it is perfectly normal. Sorry, I can't tell you why it is, but every ford I've owned has been this way.

My car is higher on the passenger side to. Not quit .5", but I even had my performance shop switch my rear Saleen springs, and it was the same. Erik
