Eibach Sway Bar kit FYI
Installed a front/rear Eibach sway bar kit on my 08 V6 Convertible about a week ago.
Install was fairly easy but just remember to have weight on the suspension before tightening the bolts. The convertible was a little fidgety getting the rear bar above the extra bracing. I had to remove the rear wheels, then fish the bar into place, reinstall the rear wheels and get them back on the ground before installing the bar.
The front is pretty straightforward but remember that the bolts used from the factory are one-time use bolts. It's up to you but I got all new ones.
The end link bolts can be aggravating as it's much easier to tighten them with the wheels off, but you can't do that because you need to have the weight on the suspension.
Torque the end link bolts in the rear to 85 ft/lbs and the mounting bolts to 52 ft/lbs. Opposite for the front. Mounting bolts 85 and end link 52.
After driving for a few miles I developed a popping noise in the back. I double checked the torque and found the end-link bolts had loosened. Re-torqued and everything is great.
The ride is great, the handling is great and it should have been done this way from the factory. Well worth the money. I got all my stuff from Late Model Restoration (LMR) for 339 for the bars and 59 for a single bar strut brace.
This is just my experience and FYI for anyone installing these bars.
