I have a 2007 GT CS, 5 speed manual car. I would like to run in the open road Silver State race in Nevada.

My car has 21k miles and is stock except for a K&N cold air intake and custom tune.

I would like to upgrade the suspension for high speed running like the SS race. My car in stock configuration feels too floatly at 100 mph plus speeds. I really don't have a lot of reference points, but is just feels less planted to me than I would like.

I lived in Germany during my Army days and drove the Autobahn daily so I have driven at sustained high speeds, but not stateside in my GT.

I am considering the FRP package, Roush, Eibach, and Steeda. I would prefer a package but really don't what would be the best fit for my needs.

I should have added that my 2007 is wearing stock tires but I plan on going to 255's all around on my 18" wheels.

Your best friend here is gonna be at least a good set of dampers, but dropping the car 1.5" would be beneficial as well. I am gonna move this thread over to the S197 Handling section, as it is full of your kinda pepes

For sustained high speed running like that, I'd much rather see those 255-wide (255/45?) tires on 18x9.5 wheels.

Koni yellows, Steeda Sport springs, and Sam Strano's adjustable sta-bars is almost common enough to call a "kit". Just the Konis (adjusted up about a turn from full soft) should be sufficient to kill off the "floaty" feeling with stock springs.
