GT500 Strut Mount = Raised Suspension?

GT500 Strut Mount = Raised Suspension?
I am fighting front end clunk and am considering getting new mounts and shocks. I don't want to lower my car so I will be using the stock springs. Since the GT500 Style Strut Mount has the rubber pad on the mount that the stock ones do not, will this raise the ride height?
Also to those who have fought front end clunk and won, were the sway bar links ever the culprit? I have seen people say that it need to be tightened on the strut but mine seems tight. It seems to make the most noise when making low speed turns or braking.
This clunk is getting annoying to the point of me wanted to drive the fiance's focus on any other than glass smooth roads.

My clunk was over bumps, any kind of small bump. Didnt matter if I was turning or not. I replaced with GT500 strut mounts and nothing changed. Now when I swapped out to GT500 front LCAs thats when the clunk went away.
FYI....Strut mounts did not change the ride height at all.

?? Except for the markings/part #'s, the gt500 strut mounts I just installed looked identical to the stock mounts. If installed correctly it won't affect ride height.
My popping (after lowering) was the sway bar end links, I had left one way too loose. 15 minute fix. BUT...I don't think I've heard of anyone who had the clunking/popping when stock when it turned out to be those end links. If I were you I'd still tighten the hell out of them, just to be safe. (Of course if you remove the struts you'll have to unbolt the links anyway. Be sure to use loctite blue when re-installing)
