Yes, my 8.8 takeoff has factory LSD w/ABS & 4.10 gears.

The RP Max Gear 75W140 should work just fine since it's a synthetic with friction modifiers in the formula.

Thanks again everyone....I think I'm squared away on the rear end. The only question. Think that I have left involves the rear springs....does it matter how they sit on the isolator? I know the front upper isolator has a certain way the springs are seated, but how about the rear?

i put RP in my new rear end, and it ground like a ****. had to add the friction modifier to make the noise go away. some people do and some people dont when they use RP

As far as how they're rotated, no, it doesn't matter on the rears. The isolators are flat. The don't have pockets the spring ends need to fit into like on the front.

Thanks again guys! I think I'll add the modifier just to be sure. I'll probably resurrect this thread when I get to my install lol.

I just installed my new springs with the lower pigtail positioned the same as the OEM springs I removed. Just make sure both springs are clocked the same. If your lowering springs have tight coils on one end, then the tight coils should be on top.

Are these isolators any thicker than the stock rubber ones?
I'm trying to get a bit more lift with ought changind the springs......but very slightly. Think I could try stacking the isolators?
