2012 GT tires and wheels advice

NT555's are excellent in warm/dry, you will like them, they are a good value. I did not like them in the rain much - they were a little hydroplane prone.
conti DW, hankook v12, and the nitto 555's would be my choices for your scenario. don't forget, you can read customer reviews on each tire type there, and they list what car they had and what they used the tires for typically. they can be helpful

Some opinions are worth more than others.
Give more "weight" to the customer reviews that explain in a little detail what they either liked or didn't. These tend to be from people with autocross or other hard-use experience.
Also, read any of Tire Rack's own comparative tests. You can find them wherever a tire you're looking at has a "Tests" tab on its "Product Description" page.
