2006 Mustang GT Strut/Shock Combo
My GT is hitting the 65K mark and I am looking to replace and upgrade the shocks and struts. It is a DD but I do take it to the strip quite a bit. I have been looking at the Strange 10 Way adjustable shock/strut combo and also the Tokico D-Specs combo. Both seem to generate favorable reviews in many forums. I have heard of some noise issues with the Strange struts but that was from posts a few years ago. I am looking for people that have installed either of these combo's in the past year or so and/or have first hand knowledge about the pros and cons of either the Strange or Tokico. It looks like the Tokico's are about $150 more and seem to be easier to adjust. Would I need or want to replace the upper strut mounts? Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

One of my friends on here, Stephen1371 has the Strange 10 ways and he drags his quite often. He likes the adjustment from what I know of. Maybe I can get him to chime in here for you. The strut mounts won't need to be changed but you might want to as a better ride may be provided because they do have a good bit of wear on them. The only time I know you would need to change strut mounts would be when popping occurs or when you change to lowering springs to help with the extra stress.
