any info on OEM 2011-2012 brake pads
Hi all,
So im looking at getting new rotors and pads for my 2008 Bullitt. I've noticed that the "take off" OEM kit by roush seems like a pretty good deal, with rotors, pads, and brackets (and calipers but i dont really need them). Im sure the OEM rotors will serve my purposes just fine, as they include spirited driving but not racing. however I dont know anything about the standard brake pads. even if i didnt use them i'd still be making out pretty well, just wondering if they are worth using at all.
Thanks,

I installed the 2013 GT 13.2" brakes on my 06 stang and it was totally worth the money to do! I noticed a big improvement in high speed braking even with the stock pads! I say they are worth it! Im sure if you did upgrade to some EBC or Hawk pads you would get even better performance out of them. I am so happy with mine I am just going to leave them alone.

Thanks Beach, thats enough for me to pull the trigger on this. I just recently purchased the car, so im not sure what pads are on there currently, but the rotors are pretty warped i guess from the car sitting for awhile.

Hi,
Be careful with Hawk HP+ pads. They are very noisy and dust up badly. They are also grabby and fade noticeably with hard use. In my opinion the stock ford pad is superior in every way - no noise, less dust, less fade.
I have no experience with other Hawk pads, so this only applies to HP+. Good luck!
