Question 2012 GT TSB for EPAS?

Does anyone know if there is a TSB for the 2012 GT, specifically the Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system. I know there was a TSB for the GT 500 on this. My steering wheel vibrates noticeably starting around 65 mph. The alignment seems ok. Could be a missing weight. Before I take it in to have the front wheels checked for a thrown weight etc. I wanted to check first. Anyone have any other ideas of what could cause this? Tires and rims are in great shape.
Thank you.

I haven't heard anything. I was just at the dealer a week ago for service and they didn't mention anything.

Thank you.
Hello Mustang Enthusiast,

I agree with you bringing your vehicle to your Ford dealer and have it diagnosed. Also, speak to your Service Manager. He/She is in the best position to look into this for you. He can check into any warranties, assistance, Recalls, or Customer Satisfaction Programs that may apply to your vehicle. Let me know the outcome.

Just had my car in this week for front end noise (2012 GT). They performed TSB 12-08-24 AND replaced the steering rack. There is no mention of a TSB for the steering rack on the paper work. It just says "INOP at times".

My car would practically change lanes by itself without the steering wheel moving. It was an absolute handful to drive. Very twitchy. The steering wheel would also shake slightly at 45-50mph.

Can't wait to come up with 1K for the Boss 302R rack and get rid of the silly driver assisted "nibble" control.

I've had the same problem with my 2011 since the day it was brand new. I have tried having the dealer look at it at least half a dozen times and everytime they tell me that Ford does acknowledge that the problem even exists so there is nothing can do except hand me back the keys and wish me luck. The severity of the shaking varies with different Traction Control modes and is EXTREMELY violent on hard braking; which I found out the hard way when someone cut me off in traffic. I'm not certain if it is in the EPAS system itself of more likely something hardware related that EPAS ans Traction Control are hiding in Normal mode. If you get any sort of solution, please PM me and let me know; 2 1/2 years has been more than long enough to deal with this problem in an otherwise amazing car....

I have noticed a shake in mine at highway speeds, as if a tire is out of balance. However, even with new tires and re-balancing, it still vibrates. I also only drive mine in SPORT mode on the TCS (putting the EPAS to SPORT by default). You guys may feel more in the normal mode since it is not supposed to feel as "heavy" in the wheel.

The lane changing thing would scare the crap out of me. Glad mine doesn't do that (at least not yet).

I've noticed when I'm in sport mode the steering wheel has a very mild wobble at highway speeds. It's really not even noticeable other than visibly I can see the steering wheel slightly vibrate, I can't actually feel any vibrations. Like I said though it only happens in sport mode which does change the parameters of the EPAS to a more sporty feel.
