Default Tire Size OEM 18's

I have the 5-spoke fanblade 18's on my '06 GT. I'm not sure if it's 18x8, x8.5 or x8.9, does anyone know? What's the max tire size without modification/pinching that can fit this rim? I have the stock 235's now.

They should 18x8.5. You can easily go to a 255 width tire. That's what I'm running and they look pretty nice. I've seen some people go to a 275, but that might be right around the recommended limit for that width rim.

Yep, 18x8.5". I'd say 255/40-18, they aren't too big and look way better on that wheel too.

255/45's will match the stock 235/50-18 diameter more closely (and was the front tire size for the GT500's when they also ran on 18" wheels).
