Thoughts on Falken AZENIS RT615K?
Curious if anyone has run these and what their thoughts are on them?
The official tire ratings of 200 treadware, 'A' traction and 'A' temperature seem mediocre for something that's supposed to be a race tire.
They are listed on a special consideration list (for speed, W rated but treated like (Y) )for the Mojave mile and they seem to have the sizes I would like to run (27" diameter rather than about 25" diameter). But if they don't grip, then they would be useless.
I've been running continental extreme contact DW's right now, but they give up traction in 3rd and 4th when the rwhp hits about 650-ish and I have just over 900 available.
I'd rather stick with a road race type tire rather than a drag radial.

Luckily I'm a big Tire Nerd and I've run both tires before. Continental DW tires have above average grip, they're pretty good for any standard car, but certainly not enough if you're pushing that much power. You will see an improvement in grip, a pretty significant increase in grip where I could honestly say you'll feel a difference. I've used the 615's for road racing, they certainly have no disappointments in that category. I'd say rock 'em! We're a Falken dealer so feel free to contact me for pricing on them
