low tire pressure after doing donuts!
The title says it all. I hope I didn't get snow inside the tire messing with the psi sensor. I checked all four and one of the rear ones was two or three psi low but that shouldn't trigger the sensor, so idk. Anybody else have this happen?

If you're saying that the TPMS light came on, it is possible under certain circumstances for you to have temporarily lowered the tire temperature and therefore its pressure enough to set off a low-psi alert. Cold water deep enough to cover the bottom portion of the wheel is one way, and cooling them off with the snow probably could as well. Even when the tire warms up and gains some of the pressure back it may not put the light out right away.

If snow got inside the tire, it would be flat.
Cold temps will cause the pressure to be lower.
Maybe was low before but took a bit to register.
Do not rely on the dash light to tell you when to check the pressure.

But I wanna!
Actually here by the great lakes the snow we got b4 Ion was 3-4 inches and I did donuts in an unplowed parking lot... ****ing awesome!
The tpms went on after and I freaked out that's all. I properly inflated them to 32 psi (all four) in butt-*** cold weather and after Ion I went to the same parking lot and did donuts again! But the surface was plowed and snow compacted, which was rather rough in texture, and it was more difficult to get the donut going. Just fyi.
Oh it was probably more the cold than the snow that set off the tpms but idk. Thanx for listening dudes!
