Hey everyone so on my way home from work my rear end started having a really bad clunking/rattling. It's raining pretty bad here so I can't really get under my car to try and track down the issue I was wondering if anyone has maybe had the issue or know of someone who has. So the sound is almost like bouncing back and fourth against each other. It's a separate sound from the shocks and struts (I think). Whenever I go over a little bump in the road, something small enough in the road that would really make the suspension do anything, you just get the rattle sound until the road goes flat again. Does anyone have an idea as to what it may be? I almost thought is was a sway bar or something but if that came lose it would be dragging on the ground wouldn't it? I think the car is lowered, could it have something to maybe do with that?

I will check those today when I get off work. I do hear it more on just the left side and I from the sound it sounds separate from the suspension. But yea when I get off work today the car will be going up in the air.

So it turned out to be a broken exhaust hanger. Got it welded back up and now I have a nice quiet ride again lol
