I didn't do this. Should I though? I'll definitely take a look at those bushings when I get the chance at least

For any change in ride height where you retain the OE rubber bushings in the control arms, you should do that. If you had kept the OE PHB, you would have been best off to do the same thing for it as well. Basically, you don't want there to be any preload on these bushings because suspension bump travel from there can overstress the rubber bushings and tear them.
