Default SR springs installed

This weekend, after much contemplation of suicide, I finally got them on. The rear was no problem, however one of the bolts for the panhard bar wasn't threaded correctly so I sent it back this morning. The fronts however... After about 3 hours I about gave up. I picked back up the next day and completed it in about 4 hours. One side only took me about 3 hours and the other about 45 minutes. However I had no help and it was my first time so what could you expect right... After installation thoughts, totally worth it. Had I known I would have liked it this much I would have done this 2 years ago when I got the car.

You must have used hand tools. Those bolts are a b*tch with just a socket set. Definitely need air tools to get them off. Also the bearings go all over the place if you're not careful.

Lucky for me my buddy owns a shop and did it for $100 and it took him an hour. Well worth it if you ask me

Looks great and it should have come from the factory like that especially on GTs. Looks awesome!

^^ I did just that... Used hand tools because everyone I asked was like that's the dumbest thing you could do. So I was like whatever and did it myself. I had to use an impact for the two bolts that connected the strut and brake assembly, there was no way my hands could move such mountains. @2K232, I saw your post earlier it looked great as well... But I wouldn't trade it for anything now that I've done it.

Hey congrats looks great. Yeah air tools are a must with the front springs. Stock stut mounts are crap and fall apart. Love the random pick. That was me when my Napa Gold filer decided to not come off the other day. LOL

car does look good. I found some vert gt500 springs and ended up going the other way and had to do the job twice. PITA for sure. been thinking of getting the lowering springs but don't want to go to far. like your look for sure. ps..need to scrub harder... there is a lazy triangle stuck to your hood.

Thanks. Yeah at first I wasn't too sure about springs. They seemed like something a beginner couldn't and shouldn't do but once you get into it it's fairly simple, just follow the instructions. And what do you mean by lazy triangle? The only triangle I see is the reflection of the hood scoop onto the hood. Plus I hadn't washed the car for 2 or 3 weeks due to rain when this picture was taken so it looks like crap
