Default Knock Brake Noise

I have a 2007 V6, 100k miles, 100% stock. The front pads only have 10,000 miles but me and a friend were trying to track down a noise which turned out to be a rusted slide pin but now I hear another one.

This is like a knock or two from the front on the first time I brake going forward AFTER backing up. We worked on the fronts. We kept the pads (Motorcraft) & rotors because they're ok but we did have the pads out and put them back in. It never happens on regular forward driving, not even a real hard stop, or even while backing up, its only after I've backed and stopped and drive forward.

Another inspection revealed that one of the anti rattle clips had broken somehow, so I bought a new set and they're all tight. All the bolts were checked. Caliper is good, no brake fluid leaks inside. The noise is still there, although not every single time. And aside from that noise, the brakes are smooth and quiet.

What else can it be? Its really bugging me.
