Hi guys,

Gonna take my car to Laguna Seca in a few short weeks and want to record my on track blunders. Just upgraded my phone to the iPhone 6+ so I need to know what phone mounts you track guys are running. I will run Harry's Laptimer app.

So it needs to have a firm mount so it doesn't go flying and needs to not block the camera or the charging port.

This might be worth a look. I got mine for the magnetic mount. The twist lock would be better for racing.

I don't have an iPhone but would imagine that ProClipUSA has a mount.... that's what I use in my cars for my Galaxy Tab 3 for my SoloStorm data logger. I have one in my truck and C5 for my phone as well.

I ended up getting a RAM mount specific to the iPhone 6+ phone. Mount looks pretty sturdy. Shows up tomorrow.

RAM mounts are the best mounts because you can really lock them in tight to prevent extra vibration. I use one for my iphone 4 currently with great results. Get a mount for your specific phone w/o case becasue it will hold the phone better.
