tramlining?

I have an 08 gt and recently bought a stock wheel and tire from a 2013 mustang gt for the winter. After putting them on I immediately felt a loose steering wheel. It would pull left or right everytime I would go over uneven surface. My suspension has been upgraded with steeda bumpsteer, camber bolts, tokico shocks, eibach springs, whiteline swaybars. Before the oe wheels and tires I was running 255/45/18 at front and 275/40/18 at the rear. Now I have 235/50/18 all the way around. I did feel very little bit of tramlining with the wider tires before, but now with the oe wheels it is more present. The oe tires has probably 45% thread left. Any idea what could cause this? Thanks guys

Are the tires from the same manufacture? Some brands seem to tram-line more than others. Also different tread patterns of the same manufacture can cause this to be more pronounced.

Thanks for the info Dusan. Yes they are the original pirelli tires.

This is my mistake, the tires are kinda worn. I'd say close to the wear bar. Could this be the cause? Or the over all diameter? Thanks again.

How wide are the wheels that you've got the 255/45's and the 275/40's on?

How wide are the 2013 GT wheels?

What's the air pressure?

I've had tires where the pressure was too low and they pulled all over the road, and also ones where the pressure was too high and the car felt very "floaty."

Tire pressure is at 30psi.

Any chance there are some hub centric spacers still on the car that were for the wider removed wheels?

That's kind of a low tire pressure..... try 36 psi. I run all of mine about there with no issues. The car rolls a lot better too.
