This past weekend I had the drivers side lower go out, 95k miles. 2006 v6 PP model.

It was a problem with the rangers too. Mine used to eat them it seemed like. Its the non greasable design. Some people go well over 100k some get 20k depends on mileage how you use the car weather conditions etc etc. Its kind of a luck of the draw.
