FR3 suspension adjustments
I put the Ford Racing adjustable FR3 suspension under my '08 Bullitt this past winter. I've done a couple of other things to it like Steeda poly/spherical control arms and Boss 302S lower relocation brackets. I finally had the chance to get it out to an autocross and drag race a couple of weeks ago. It handles significantly better than the stock Bullitt suspension did! I'm wondering what some of you with approximately the same setup are running for shock settings. I know the suspension really isn't ideal for drag racing, but I enjoy it anyway. I ended up with full soft on the fronts and about 1 1/2 turns from full hard on the rear. I'm not convinced it was ideal, as my 60' times were no better than any previous runs. For the autocross, it felt like the front stuck really well and the back end was a little loose. I had everything set full hard initially, but backed off about 2 rounds on the back, which seemed to help. In a few weeks I'm going to have it on a road course, so I'd be curious to hear what you run on a higher speed track. All of the events have been and will be done on stock sized (235/50-18) Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

I had it out at Hallett Raceway this past weekend and found that full hard on the fronts and 3 turns out on the rear worked pretty well. All 4 tires would start squealing at about the same time and it felt pretty neutral rather than the understeer it had with the original suspension. I also had it at Tulsa International Raceway for some drag racing. I set it at full soft on the fronts and about 2 turns from full stiff on the rear. Any softer than that on the rears and it wanted to wheel hop.
