Default Just a brake pad swap, now spongy brake pedal.

2014 GT/CS non-Brembo (can you get a cs with Brembos?)

Anyway, so roughly 10,000 miles on the car, stock pads had plenty of wear left but they literally screeched on every single stop. So, picked up a set of Duralast Gold ceramics from Autozone. Swapped out and I could instantly tell a difference in the pedal feel. Maybe somehow air got in the lines even though it doesn't make sense? Ended up bleeding the brakes just to be safe, pedal still spongy.

Any ideas on other things to check out? Any help is appreciated.

Don't over think it, if still spongy then you haven't bleed them enough.

Did you either get new rotors or have your originals given a light cut to remove grooves and pad deposits from the OE pads?

FWIW, I'm not a fan of mass-market ceramics. Not at all.

Make sure to bleed all four corners starting on the furthest from the master cylinder and work your way around. It's always best to have a friend help you out inside the car and communicate with them about the stroke of the pedal while operating the bleeder screw.

That power bleeder is awesome. A must have IMO. Adding some stainless steel lines will improve the pedal feel big time too. Worth the cost for sure.
