Default I think I got scammed on Ebay with a steering rack

I need your opinion on something. I bought a supposed M-3200-R steering rack, but what I received was an M-3200-D. The seller claims it's the same rack, but to my knowledge the R was supposed to be a quick ratio rack used in the FR500C. I can't find any information on the D rack. I'm pretty sure I got scammed, but before I go slander someone I thought I 'd ask. Attached is the conversation we had:

This is the rack I received:

So, no one has any ideas whether this is a legit part or not? Honestly I don't feel any difference in steering but I haven't taken the car to the track yet, they are repaving it.

The talk is that the only differences in the various racks is the internal stops for wider or skinner tires. I have no idea how accurate that is. Have you tried contacting a Ford Racing parts supplier to ask them the difference between a D and R rack? I would think they would know best.

A dealer may not have a clue though.

Thanks. Jesus, couldn't Ford make it any more convoluted? Honestly, my original steering rack couldn't take any more track days and this one was brand new and cheap (Which should have clued me in that it wasn't an R rack, since those go for 700 dollars and I paid around 200. It just bothers me when people advertise something falsely. I mean, just say it's a normal rack for 200 bucks, it's still a good deal.

As far as the Dealer goes, those people are useless.
