Default Really?

Purchased a pair of Roush rear shocks for my 08 GT, and realized when I opened them that the bushings, washers and nuts are not included. For the price of the shocks, that's ridiculous. Anyway, will any Mustang shock kit work on these?

If the shocks didn't come with bushings, shame on Roush. Just reuse the washers and nuts.

No, I contacted Roush and they confirmed just shocks. Others need to chime in on this. Really petty Roush!

And Roush is being really cute about avoiding to send them. So I pulled out the big guns, called Summit Racing where I purchased the shocks. There website actually shows bushings included. They said they would call Roush and have them send me 2 sets. Should not have to go through this for bushings.

Just heard from Roush and they advised me, drum roll please, to use the carry over bushings from the original shocks. This just irks the **** out of me! Big company penny pinching on bushing and having the gall to advise using the crushed and deformed bushings. First time and last time for Roush. First impressions are lasting ones.

Let's hope that Summit revises their picture and/or adds a note to the effect that "bushings and mounting hardware not included".

They are keeping costs low, & passing the savings on to you!

Fixed.

There's no good reason to cheap out like that, when bushings absolutely do deteriorate over time and nuts don't always come off undamaged.
