Shelby Owners Picture Thread

Very nice mustangs and shelby's. I have something to say thats been eating at me for a long time. There is some misunderstanding and misuse of the shelby name.. A shelby is not a mustang there are very distinct differences....To qualify It must be built/upgraded at the sheby plant using shelby parts, 2 It must be certufied and regiastered at shelby as well, What eats me is people insult the selby name by taking a mustang and placing shelby name and fakl shelby parts to make it look like its a shelby its lame .this is so tacky and insulting to genuine shelby owners and to carols name and his reputation There is nothing wrong with using the mustang name at all. Please respect shelby will you. Be honest is all it takes the other is a flat out lie. Any way sorry i had to vent. I DO LOVE all of these MUSTANGS AND SHELBY PICS
Second, They are all Mustangs built by Ford at the same Plants, just some go to LV. to Shelby.
Third, Not everyone (including me) has the money for a real GT500KR.
When I take my car to shows, I have a sign that tells what I'm doing with my car. Most everyone thinks its cool and can't wait to see it done. There has only been 2 people in 8 shows that bitched about it. One of those guys tried to have the guy running the show make me leave for having a fake. I never say that my car is a Shelby because its not but that said, All the Mustangs used in Knight Rider 2008 were all GT's with GT500KR parts.
The other guy had a 69 Chevy Camaro SS/RS Tribute at the show and had the ***** to call my car a fake and when I asked him about his, He said that its different because his was a Chevy. When I asked him what did his car start out as, he told me a 6 cyl. The guy also went as far as having paperwork for a real 69 SS/RS with a different VIN # on it and said that his car was built the same as the real car. Now to me That is making people think its the real thing. Sorry to vent about this but everyone should do what they want on there car. To me, I'm the one that makes the payment and I'm happy with the way my car looks.
Thanks Ted
