Have to get a tuner to do it.

Your'e front facia chin splitter might break. That is why they reinforced it for the 2013 model, the downforce could crack your mount points after 160mph. Erik

3:73's on my car, i was hoping it would make it easy to get going from a start while driving around town, but i cant say that it helped alot, when the car is cold its pretty easy, but once things get heated up its easy to chatter the hell out of it.

So not worth it in your opinion? Even worse traction?

I mean it was only $500, i will see if it was worth it when i get some track time. I have the same mods as i had on my old 07 except gears and i ran an 11.76 with that. Im hoping to get down into the 11.50's. Its definitely quicker and you go through the gears faster. But traction is gonna suck either way with the tires im running on the back. I have a set of stock rims with nitto dr's on the back for the track. Gas mileage will go down a few mpgs.

Swapping the 3.31's to 3.73's in the GT500 is a great upgrade. It was the very next thing I was going to do in my previous 2008 GT500 that I had. I talked to numerous people here that had done it and everyone had nothing but great things to say about it.

Cokeman,

It appears that wheel hop varies from car to car. Some are solved simply by LCAs, others not so much. I don't have a GT-500 or near that power but I added in LCAs and still had hop. Later I added Koni Sports (Yellows), Steeda HD Mounts/Springs, and also went with 18" Stagged Bullits/Nittos (oversized rear tire 28.4" compared to stock 27") so the combination of the above, but more so the struts/shock/springs I think solved the wheel hop for me.

Since you already have LCA & UCA and still have the wheel hop, hard to say what exactly should be your next move. I think the Cobra's came with upgraded strut/shock, but may need to look into aftermarket for that?

Menace, The wheel hop is probably 90% gone now but on certain pavement it will give a slight hop but nothing like before
