wow...that is an awesome write up...thanks alot. I think I will stay with the procal tune as I am like you...my car is a DD and not a track car ever...so to me once you get over 400+ rwhp...how much more is necessary to just have fun on the street with...to me the FRPP CAI was a look thing first..the performance and sound factor were perks...great write up again ...thx..

bkmagby, Great write up!! I am considering the FRPP setup and you have answered alot of my questions!! One question, Is your axle backs the SVT1 or the GT version GTA'S? I installed the Bullitt mufflers but the KR Bullitt mufflers have the round cans so they must be different sound, maybe back pressure is less???
I'm like you in that I want to keep my car looking factory OEM. I bought the car because it was a Shelby and I have always wanted one, not just because it is a 500 hp Mustang. I like the OEM look of the FRPP CAI and SVT1 axel-backs. And to me it feels more like they are just factory options rather than aftermarket parts. I like keeping my GT500 all genuine Ford
The GT500KR mufflers are the round versions of the Borla / FRPP M-5230-SGT’s, with Bullet muffler tips welded on. I really like the look of them, but I have read allot of post that say that they drone and I hate drone. The SVT1’s are as loud as I want to go, and they fit the back of the car / Air Diffuser perfectly. You can tell they were made for the GT500.
Hope this helps.
