Lack of features?

Ok, I know I'm getting soft in my old age, but I can't believe my F-150 has more features than my GT 500! I miss my outdoor temp indicator! I thought the compass/mirror also had a temp indicator in it too! Also, the auto lights on/off feature, I sorely miss on the Shelby......an inside trunk release might be nice too.....ok, OK, so the truck doesn't have 500 horses and a body to die for.....

I don't suppose there's anyway to rectify any of the above???

Thanks!

I agree I would like everthing you mentioned on my 500, hell my 95 had a glove box trunk release.

Come come, this is a Shelby Performance vehicle, not a luxury Lincon!!!

I understand that it's a performance vehicle, but......it's not a stripped down bracket racer. Leather trim, power seats, power windows and door locks, great stereo.....why not a temp display and auto-on light feature? I mean, it's not like it's not already in the Ford inventory!

I agree that the temp display could be standard as it is an option at least here in Canada, but the auto headlights and some other luxury stuff may take away from the classic muscle car it is trying to portray?? JMO

ford does have the mirror in the accessories catalog, with the temp indicator/compass, shame its so much extra tho.

Here in Vegas i don't need a temp gauge to tell me it's 115 outside!

yes, I heard the same complaint from someone about how they want automatic headlights!
Like how lazy and/ or stupid are we that we need to spend money on something that has been done manually for over 100 years!
Every little electronic gadget that they come out with seems cool and we'd all love to have a GT500 with the features of a Lexus or BMW, but I like to think that the folks behind the Mustang know that we don't really need any of those things, that they ad weight, drive up the base price of the car and will eventually break! In a high performance car I bet they will break even sooner.

The good news is that almost any feature you'd like can be added to the GT500. It can get expensive and the temp sensor is not an easy install, which is why it probably isn't included in the GT500.
