Recall too that heat issues have significantly cut short the life span of the clutches to Fords expense.

Pull in the competition from the Camaro for 400 the horsepower car buyer and I think Ford will match them.
Same sheet metal on the inside.
Engine bay remain the same, so any current mill with a blower will fit.
Note that the 2010 hood has a small bulge in the middle...

As far as what they gonna do for sure, I don't have a clue and I think they're not even sure.
We can only speculate for the moment.

roush stage 3 is a better handling machine (cornering etc) than the gt500 stock....last time I checked in my area the roush stage 3 are a dime a dozen...they are everywhere...straight line end to end...the stock gt500 will walk a stock roush stage 3...end of story...
now weight of a roush stage 3 is underrated at 3,450++ lbs whereas the gt500 is 3,920....so the wieght advantage goes to roush

HP roush stage 3 is 415hp and 380 torque.....gt500 is 500hp and 480 torque...power goes to gt500 and its power difference more than makes up for the added weight

price (this is based on Local MSRP vs MSRP) roush stage 3 $53,995 vs shelby gt500 $47,480

edge to gt500

so for a few bucks more you can jack your gt500 up to 600hp, then with some suspension mods it can handle as well as the roush...to me its about what you are looking for from your stang...lets not even go over the amount of Roush on the road vs the gt500....overall I would take the gt500 hands down every time....price, power potential etc...

TJ, your wisdom shows again.

Stage3 are a lot closer than $60K, some even past it...
Anyway, I don't know why people get such a hard on for those Roush mobiles, lol.
Especially the stage1. Talk about a rip off.

Stage3 is also a jack compared to the GT500, now that most dealer mark up is dropped.
What's so hard to understand?

Take the Cobra... make it go to 600hp, make it handle better and a tad lighter (it's possible), you'll have then a much better ride than the Stage3 joke for even less dough!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but just $5000 will make the Cobra a mean machine...

today I saw a Shelby for 34900$ of cause we are talking used here, it has 15000 milles on it, what im looking for is MAX 3000milles on it. About Roush vs Shelby I will say Shelby is a better buy, just need new eibach improvements then you have a great car, BUT I still have a but here, with the new Mustang coming and all, Im not sure anymore what I do, but I will see the USA again thats the good thing.
