Default GT500 Clutch question

I was at my ford dealer today with my friend, while ther I sat in a GT500, The clutch feels pretty heavy, My question is ,does it get easier when the engine is running? Being a hydraulic clutch, I have never had a car with Hydraulic clutch. Thanks, Lee

I would say it's a little easier when running. I guess it's a large double disc unit.
Was it a new car? Many 07 have had issues and required a clutch replacement.
If the car was there for service, that may be why. Some have failed at 600 miles.

I wish I could answer your question....but this the only standard transmission car I have ever driven in my life......so I have nothing to compare it to. Other people that have driven my car say it has an odd/difficult clutch at times...but I learned on it and do good with it now.

Exactly feathering this clutch only creates hop and drag and judder! The feel of this clutch is far different than a GT and takes some getting used too!! As far as stiffer or heavy not when the engine is running, it is as soft as a Gt pedal is, just far more precise shift point or grab. This is my take on the topic!
