....sports car and eventually the fiberglass will begin to spider and crack....!
I've never seen a C5 do that and mine is eight years old.
Corvettes haven't been built from traditional fiberglass since 1983 with the introduction of the 1984 model (C4). They are made from SMC (sheet molding compound) and RRIM (reinforced reaction injection molding).
Yeah, you're comparing apples and pears......the GT 500 is an incredibly fast, comfortable grand touring car that will flatten your eyeballs with acceleration and lay waste to most of the automotive hardware on the road. The Z06 is a sports car with blinding acceleration and horsepower to spare, but it rides like a sports car, feels like a sports car and eventually the fiberglass will begin to spider and crack. If I had wanted a sports car and could afford a Z06, I'd bought a Shelby Cobra!
Are you serious ? I like the GT500 . But when you see the front of a z06 coming at you .
It's a real sight IMO.
its a sight...but i dont think it looks mean at all...it looks like a vette...nothing more...the vette has not really impressed me in its evolution...maybe thats just me...if I was going to buy a Z06 I would take that same money and find a 1963 corvette sting ray split window coupe...now to me ...that was a vette...
