Default good deal on new gt500's

I bought my roush almost 2 years ago, and at that time was also looking at gt500's, but they were marked up to around $69,000 for a coupe so that was out. yesterday I was at a local dealer just to kill time, and a salesman came up trying to sell me a car, so we got to talking about the one gt500 they had on the lot, a very nice white/blue stripes fully loaded. I asked the price and he went in to the manager, came back out 5 minutes later and said $45,000 would buy the car. very tempted, and am amazed at the drop in price.this is an 09 model by the way. makes me glad I did'nt drop $69,000 for an 07 model

You think that's bad, one guy said he asked a sales guy what they would give for him to trade in a low mile GT 500 over this weekend and the sales guy told him 20K. Maybe they were messing with him but, that would be a shock.

I see total production will be 20,420 +/- a bit.
