Default How much for a 2006 Shelby?

Hello all. I am looking at a 2006 Shelby coupe (blue) with 25k miles. No idea what it should be worth thought. Please give some advice as I don't want to pay too much! Thanks!

Both the Shelby GT and GT-500 were first available for 2007. There was the GT-H in 2006, but they didn't produce any in blue. Coppamilano, are you sure it's a 2006?

If the seller is telling you it is an '06, that would send up some red flags for me. Are you sure it's a real Shelby and not a clone? If you haven't already, I'd run the VIN to make sure you know what you're getting.

do a vin number search...the only shelby that is a 2006 is the GT-H and that is black and gold....shelby gt and gt500 were not available until the 2007 model...there were a few pre production models...but I still believe they were considered 2007....

You would be right... 07 models.
That's why you can't get it in Satin Silver, since they dropped that color for 07.
Only the cars destined to be KRs are made in Satin before being shipped to Shelby.

Have a foreign customer that want one and the dealer told me: no can do.
So we're going to white with blue stripes.

HMMM....Did they make some sort of "appearance" Shelby package in 2006? I had a friend look up the vin on his dealer program and he said it gave Shelby GT as an option, but he wasn't sure 2006 had a Shelby.

The dealer told me the 2007 had the Shelby GT500 but 2006 had a Shelby package that was basically the same as a regular GT.

Think this is aftermarket "badging" on a GT or ?

Thanks for the quick replies!
