Looked at a GT500KR today
I had a card to stop by the Ford dealer to pick up a prize (could be a Wii, a flat screen TV, or a fleece blanket - I knew it would be the blanket). But the dealer had a GT500KR in the store. It wasn't out on the showroom floor and I asked about it and was told it was on a lift, covered, out back for now.
We know the owner of the dealership and he happened to be in and came out to say "hi". So we stood around talking and my wife said she saw the light go on over Tom's head when he said "you want to come out back with me and see it?" - so out back to uncover the GT500KR.
Beautiful car, it is the silver vapor with blue stripes. We popped the hood and checked it out, took a look inside, and I was ready to take it home. He ordered it for someone that Ford corporate sent to him, the guy went in for heart surgery and called after the surgery and cancelled out of the deal. He now has an $80,000 car on his floor plan that he hadn't intended upon so wants to get it sold. My wife was waiting in the showroom and when we came back the first thing she said was "give Tom the keys back". He said that he figures I know a lot of Mustang enthusiasts so put the word out and help him get it out of the dealership.
So, who wants to buy a very nice GT500KR?
(this is what the GT500KR was like as far as color etc, since we have 10" of snow right now, the car wasn't coming out of the garage for a picture today)

we have ne here in tmpa that color for $80K, no markup
that silver in person really pops, i think its different paint than the silver v6 and gt
or maybe its because of the bright blue LeMans stripes

yes,,,,I believe BRandon Ford is still sitting on 3 of them. 1 that can never be sold (its the owners and he had to make a deal with Ford themselves because the production number is so low) (its black by the way) they also have a satin silver one and I believe a vapor one? 2 of 3 of them could be had at msrp. no markup.
