Unhappy 2008 GT500 Clutch Issues

I have a 2008 GT500 with a long list of Mods. Car make 760 RWHP. So i upgraded the clutch to the Spec racing model. Since that time i am having real issue with the release point. Spec states that the clutch should begin to engage at about half way up from the floor. Mine is engaging at nearly the top of the pedal travel. Makes it very difficult in 1st gear to get the car to move. Any adjustments that we know of that are a quick fix?

2008 GT500, Whipple 3.4 SC, CAI, 100 Octane Fuel with Evolution Performance Tune, 72 lbs injectors, 1600mm singel blade throttle body, Kenne Bell Dual Boost a Pump, Kook Long Tube Headers, Metalic Cats and Borla Exhaust, 3.375" Upper pulley and 4 lb lower pulley, 23 pounds of Boost, 6 speed short throw KR shifter, Super Snake Hood and Super Sanke Stripe kit, Alumunim 1 piece Drive Shaft, Ford Racing 3.73 rear end gears, Nikko adjustable shocks, Ford racing springs, Evolution Performance Sub frame connectors, pan hard bar, upper and lower control arms, billet fuel rails.

AFAIK - There are no adjustments to be made, was the system bleed properly?

how many miles on the car when the clutch was changed?

is it the orig TOB?

You might post your question in the Shelby section of this board or, check over at stangmafia.com. Lots of Shelby owners are there.

im not sure if you have figured out the clutch/transmission issue yet, but you may want to check out teamshelby.com... there are several threads about a TSB for clutch/transmission issues on GT500s built before 8-19-2008... i know yours has a aftermarket clutch but some people on that forum advise that there are also problems with the input shaft, the master cylinder and the throw out bearing...

here is a link to one of the threads....
