Hey guys, looking for some imput on what the generally excepted "max rpm" is for 5.4 engines (preferably n/a)

I think the general consensus is 6200. This engine has over a 4" stroke and things start moving pretty fast at that RPM. Personally, I shift right at 6000 just to be safe and my stock rev limiter is in place.

yeah thats my concern, im trying to figure exactly which a/r trim to pick for a turbo, I think it need to make more power down low. My guess what that the supercharger had more to do with the redline on the GT500, I was wanting to know if many of you bought tuners which increased limit, and if so to what rpm. I mean I think 6500 should be good to go, but im not looking to drop 5gs on billet rockers either. My friend has a mopar with a bore/stroke ratio worse than use 1.575 or so and he spins up to 7k. But I see how the new GT has skirt oil squirters and I also wanted to know if that could be adapted to other 5.4's, because I have no idea how it works on these cars

I put a pulley, cai, and a tune in and peak power was at 6350 and the redline is set to 6500
