OK, I know this isn't a Shelby area, but I just had to post a link to the latest release from Shelby Inc.

My first impression was "That looks so cheesy". On looking closer, there are actually a couple of things I like about the car - mostly the fact that lines from "Mad Max" started to go through my head!

The big thing, however, is the price tag. Do they really expect to sell 100 of these packages at $100k (not including the base car)? Even in the good-times I would have thought that was a stretch.

yea I think shelby, roush, saleen, steeda, all them need to relax about making all these limited editions. yea some are cool but some really are bad mistakes. if you check out other car forums people always laugh about all the limited edition mustangs and the next ones that come out. yea this drag car looks pretty sick but cmon. its a shelby converted to a KR converted to a drag car. When does it end?

I'm just tired of a company that keeps bringing 100k dollar versions of a 20k dollar car and then tells us they're losing money.

Stop the cars only 5 people can buy and fix the rest so everyone wants to buy them.

As for the car in the original post, it's what the military labels "good initiative, bad judgment."

I kind of like it. Just looks so mean. Imagine pulling up next to something like that on the street. Just my opinion plus its kind of late. Can't believe the price though. I know some of that custom equipment plus only making a 100 pieces isn't going to help with the price.
