You can add the Super Snake Package at any time and as long as a Ford dealer does it, there will be a warranty. If you wanted to go ahead and order the car you could and just slap the Super Snake Package on whenever it comes out.

I'm still trying to figure out why you are going to pay the 30K+ difference just to have a warranty on the car... with that 30K you could put enough mods on the car to make it faster than the Super Snake and still have plenty of money left over should something go wrong... and that's assuming that Ford doesn't honor the warranty for some reason.
There are plenty of people who have modded their cars and still had their warranty honored... including myself.

You can buy a 08 new KR for $ 55.000 which in 10 years will be worth alot more than a 2010 GT500. THE kr's are @ the very bottom now. Give a little more time and the 09's will hit bottom. The KR's handle and sound much better than the 10 GT500. As you can see the KR is not that much more than a 10 GT500. They only made 1700 KR's and when they are gone that's it.
